Uber & Lyft Handoff Service by Taxi Minnesota
We Get You to Uber or Lyft.
No Uber or Lyft in your small town? Taxi Minnesota helps you reach a suitable rideshare pickup location so you can continue your journey and potentially save money on long-distance transportation.
Simple Rural Connections
How the Handoff Service Works
Taxi Minnesota helps bridge the transportation gap between smaller communities and areas where rideshare transportation may be available.
We help identify a practical transfer area where Uber or Lyft transportation may be available. The onward ride should be confirmed before the handoff.
Meet your confirmed rideshare driver and continue to your destination. Compare the combined price with a full taxi trip to determine whether you can save.
Potential Cost Savings
Avoid paying one taxi fare for the entire journey when a more economical combination is available.
Rural Transportation
Designed for smaller communities where rideshare drivers may not be readily available.
More Travel Options
Get transportation to a suitable rideshare transfer location rather than relying on local app availability alone.
Flexible Long-Distance Travel
Compare a complete Taxi Minnesota trip with a taxi-and-rideshare combination.

A Different Way to Travel
Why Customers Choose a Handoff Ride
In many small towns, finding Uber or Lyft transportation may be difficult. Booking a taxi all the way to a distant destination can also become expensive.
Taxi Minnesota helps customers explore a different option. We can transport eligible passengers to a practical rideshare pickup area where they may continue their trip using an available Uber or Lyft driver.
Rather than automatically paying for the full trip by taxi, customers can compare the combined fares and determine whether the handoff will save money.
Our goal is to help rural travelers access more transportation options.

Taxi Minnesota is an independent transportation
provider and is not affiliated with Uber or Lyft.
Rideshare availability, pricing, driver acceptance,
and cancellation policies are controlled by the
respective platforms. A rideshare connection
cannot be guaranteed based solely on a service
area's presence in an app. Passengers should
confirm onward transportation before handoff,
and an alternative should be agreed upon if the
onward ride is unavailable. Savings are not
guaranteed. Taxi pickups are subject to operating
authority and service availability.
