Reservation Basics

Before your driver is dispatched

Taxi Minnesota focuses on scheduled and advance transportation. Pricing, pickup availability, and the expected dispatch window are reviewed before a reservation is confirmed.

01

Payment Before Dispatch

All confirmed reservations require payment before a driver is dispatched unless a written company account agreement states otherwise.

02

Advance Scheduling

Long-distance, airport, rural, medical, and early-morning trips should be reserved in advance whenever possible.

03

Pickup Windows

Quoted pickup times are estimates based on driver location, traffic, weather, road conditions, and current availability.

04

Correct Trip Details

Customers are responsible for providing the correct pickup address, destination, passenger count, luggage, and special needs.

Lost & Found

Items left inside a vehicle

Contact the office or service team connected with your reservation as soon as possible. Taxi Minnesota is not responsible for personal property left in a vehicle, but a reasonable effort may be made to locate the item and coordinate its return.

Yes. If a driver must travel to return an item, the customer is responsible for the full travel fee for the return trip. The amount is based on the driver’s location, distance, time, tolls, parking, and any other applicable travel costs.

When mailing is available, the customer is responsible for the full postage or shipping cost, an additional mailing administration charge equal to 20% of the shipping cost, and a separate handling or travel fee for the trip to the post office or shipping location. Payment is required before the item is mailed.

Storage time may vary by regional office and item type. Perishable, unsafe, illegal, or unsanitary items may be discarded immediately. Unclaimed property may be disposed of after the applicable holding period.

General trip terms

No. Pricing may include mileage, estimated travel time, driver travel to the pickup, tolls, parking, airport or facility fees, overnight requirements, wait time, vehicle type, luggage, road conditions, and return positioning.

The approved fare covers the trip details provided at booking. Additional stops, address changes, extended waiting, route changes, extra passengers, excess luggage, cleaning, tolls, parking, or other added services may result in additional charges.

Taxi Minnesota is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, construction, road closures, crashes, law-enforcement activity, mechanical emergencies, flight changes, or other circumstances outside the company’s reasonable control.

Wait-time billing may begin after the included grace period or at the confirmed pickup time when the customer is not ready. Additional waiting must be paid before the trip continues when requested by dispatch.

Only stops listed in the confirmed reservation are included. Unscheduled stops are subject to driver approval, added mileage, added wait time, and additional payment.

Customers must disclose the number and size of bags, mobility devices, sports equipment, or oversized items before booking. A larger vehicle or additional vehicle may be required when the reserved vehicle cannot safely carry everything.

Pets must be disclosed in advance and may require a carrier, protective covering, cleaning deposit, or additional fee. Legitimate service animals are handled in accordance with applicable law.

Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the reservation type, notice provided, driver assignment, driver travel already completed, and any nonrefundable dispatch or processing charges. Once a driver has been dispatched or has begun traveling toward the pickup, some or all of the payment may be nonrefundable.

The driver may select a safer or more practical route because of traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle restrictions, or current conditions. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed.
